The Journey Begins

SEPTEMBER 2018
Thomas Rasmussen & Dortea Engelund
In September 2018, Thomas Rasmussen founded Devote Consulting with a mission to support you and your patients through agile, innovative solutions - breaking away from predetermined practices. Our journey began in the vibrant Copenhagen Bio Science Park (COBIS), Denmark's hub for biotech and life science entrepreneurs.

Shortly after, Dortea Engelund joined as Co-Founder, bringing her expertise in bio-business innovation, Clinical R&D consultancy, and entrepreneurship. Together, Thomas and Dortea united their visions to bring Devote Consulting to life, laying the foundation for a company built on collaboration and forward-thinking.

Moving Copenhagen Office to the Waterfront

JULY 2022
While our initial intention was to remain in our quarters at Christianshavn in Kanalhuset for five years, our team in Copenhagen quickly surpassed 30 consultants. Consequently, we sought out a new office space adjacent to the Copenhagen Waterfront, situated in the heart of the city. This new location affords us a direct view of Denmark’s architectural gem, the Black Diamond, from our desks.

A Børsen Gazelle is like getting a high-five from the Danish business world! An award for being a super-speedy-growing company in Denmark. To snag one of these Gazelles, a company needs to show that it's been steadily growing in a healthy way over the past few years and less than 1% of Danish companies live up to the criteria for receiving the award. In 2023 we received our first Gazelle Børsen award, which turned out not to be our last.
